Every Sunday night, we offer a low-key, three-course menu for $30, in addition to our regular menu. It's an inexpensive and easy way to end the weekend or start the week, whichever you prefer. We don't usually know what it'll be until Sunday afternoon, so feel free to call us after 5:30 PM to get the details on that night's Supper. Or, check out our twitter feed, where it gets posted as soon as it's on the specials board. Keep in mind quantities are limited; Sunday Supper can and does sell out, so come early and often.

Every weekday, we offer call-ahead pickup orders through our pickup window on the north side of the street. Please allow 20 minutes for order preparation for pickup window orders.
Salt & Mortar, a small neighborhood restaurant located in New York City's East Village, was opened in 2007 by owners Aaron Johnson and Clive Robinson. Our menus are built around seasonality and quality. Whenever possible, we use locally grown, raised, caught, and crafted products that are produced by people who do those things with care. Our wide-ranging beer list features some of the most skillful craft brewers in the country. Our wine list, populated with small and mostly natural or biodynamic producers from the US and Europe, features affordable and approachable selections meant for pairing with our food.
Salt & Mortar would love to host your next gathering. For parties larger than 15 people, we can also make the restaurant available for a full buy-out with enough advance notice. Additionally, we can offer any of the items on our menus in a drop-off catering format for small- to medium-sized events. We can also work with you to customize a menu.
